Lured by the call of the sea? Enjoy a vigorous swim in the wide-open ocean? Then we have just the event for you! Jump right in at Cocos Crossing, Guam’s premier ocean swim event that has turned into one of Guam’s much anticipated annual traditions.

Now in its 25th year, The Annual Invitational International Cocos Crossing Guam is to be held on Sunday, May 24, 2015. This exciting event where swimmer battle miles of open waters draws more than a hundred swimmers from not just Guam, but also from across the world.

The swimmers start off from Cocos Island and finish up at Merizo Pier, which is about 2.5 mile away. But this is just the easy route. The more experienced and more adventurers swimmers go for the longer swim that starts off at Merizo Pier, swim 2.5 miles, double back and end up at the Pier again to complete a full five miles. For them Cocos Island is just a halfway point.

This year, a new category has been added to the event to add a dash of excitement. This one involves going a little deeper; that is, swimmers can use a mask, snorkel and fins and dive a little deeper for some extra adventure at sea.
