A Guam Halloween! Now, wouldn’t that be fun?

Halloween in Guam is always a fun affair with spooky tricks and treats all over the island. So what do they have lined up for this year? We have made your job easier and lined up the best places to be in Guam this year, all in one place. So go on, pick your trick or treat, or just pick them all!

Events for a Fun Guam Halloween:

Painting: The Bead Hive is hosting a Halloween themed painting session at its Tamuning location on October 17, at noon. For more details, call 988-6646 or visit their website here.

Haunted House: What’s Halloween without a good ol’ Haunted House? Get ready to be scared out of your wits at the 19th Annual Mongmong-Toto-Maite Haunted House from 6:30 to 10 p.m. on October 23 at the MTM Community Center. Admission and Treats: $1.

Boat Dive: The Micronesian Divers Association is holding a Halloween Boat Dive and Costume Contest on Oct. 24 at the Agat Marina.

Show Time: 8 am.

Boat Seat: $45 per person.

Only limited number of seats available. So book yours in advance.

Pet Costume Contest: Feathers ’N Fins annual Halloween Pet Costume Contest will be held at 4 p.m. Oct. 24 at Guam Premier Outlets.

Costume Contest Categories: Scariest, Cutest, Funniest, Most Original and Halloween Duo featuring the pet and owner together. Only one winner per family. Pet should be vaccinated and on a leash. No aggressive animals since this is a family event. Advanced registration at Feathers ’N Fins. For more details, call 472-1190.

Guam Sunshine Lions: The GSLC Halloween Extravaganza is on from 6:30 p.m. to midnight Oct. 24 at the Elks Lodge in Agana Heights. Come enjoy a fiesta dinner, live music, entertainment, costume contest for adults, and raffle prizes. Admission: $10 per person and includes dinner and one free drink. No minors allowed. Pre-event $5 raffle tickets are being sold for a chance at a round-trip tickets to Los Angeles, Hong Kong or Manila and cash prizes.

Trunk & Treat: St. John’s Church will hold its Trunk & Treat from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 24 at St. John’s Church, 911 North Marine Corps Drive, Upper Tumon. For more details, call 649-0690.

Red Ribbon: Say “Boo” to Drugs from 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Agana Shopping Center. The Red Ribbon coalition team will pass out candies to children. Winners of the gate, drawing and video contests will be announced and awards presented.

Underwater Pumpkin-carving: Enjoy carving a pumpkin? Fancy trying that underwater? Then this is where you need to be. At the Cemetry Wall at 9 am on October 31.

Tickets: $15 for entry and event T-shirts. Bring a pumpkin, knife with a sheath and small pumpkin-carving tool. Be sure to bring enough weight to keep yourself and your pumpkin underwater. Talofofo Event: Enjoy some good old Trick or Treating at the Talofofo Mayor’s Office at 6 p.m. Oct. 31. Costume contest with four categories: Scariest, Funniest, Cutest and Original. Costume contest judging at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Contact the mayor’s office for details.
