The much awaited and biggest shopping event in the Western Pacific Region, Shop Guam Festival runs for 73 days and offers a plethora of discounts from retailers for luxury and budget brands, along with exclusive dining and entertainment deals. Participating in the SGF are the outlet stores in Guam Premier Outlets and the international and luxury chains located in Agana Shopping Center, Micronesia Mall, Tumon Sands Plaza, The Plaza and T Galleria.
This one of a kind tax free shopping experience draws visitors to Guam from the entire neighborhood of Micronesian nations and the Marinas, not to speak of the global tourists. This year, the festival hopes to draw 270,000 visitors.
As an added incentive, there are plenty of discounts on offer for shopping, dining, tourist attractions and entertainment through the SGF coupon booklet. This year, the Guam Visitors Bureau is offering 208 exclusive deals for the shopper.
What is even better is the fact that US’ famous shopping event ‘Black Friday’, which is the Friday after Thanksgiving when stores offer deep discounts and everyone shops on a war footing falls during the SGF and this bit of US soil far away from the mainland experiences Black Friday too.
