The Guam Visitors Bureau along with the Pacific Islands Club and United Airlines, will host the 2015 Guam International Marathon (to include a half marathon, 10k and 5k) on Sunday, April 12, 2015.
The Guam International Marathon, including the half marathon, 10K and 5K, are out and back race courses that start and end at the Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) in Tumon. Runners start immediately in front of GVB in Tumon. All races proceed north on Pale San Vitores Road before taking a right hand turn on Route 14A (Tumon Bay Road). At Marine Corps Drive (K-Mart intersection) runners will take a right hand turn and head south.
The marathon course has been certified by AIMS/IAAF and is a Boston Marathon qualifier. AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races) is affiliated with the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF), the world governing body for the sport of track and field.
