Guam Trench Challenge

The Great Guam Trench Challenge

Guam provides another adrenaline pumping event, the Trench Challenge. For all the avid running enthusiasts, this is an obstacle race spread over a 3-4 mile course. Being held on August 13, 2017, this race is being conducted at the sprawling 250 acre property of the Guam International Raceway, and starts at 7:00 AM.

TRENCH CHALLENGE is the premiere obstacle course race in the western pacific region. This challenge offers a great variation in elevation and scenery changes from desert style terrain, mud pits, motocross dirt track and single canopy rain forest along cliff lines with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. With over 20 combinations of man made and natural obstacles and an average temperature of 81 degrees Fahrenheit and relative humidity varying between 60-94%, the climate alone can pose an obstacle for even the fittest athletes. This is the best an endurance athlete can get. When in Guam for this event, stay at Days Inn for a comfortable time.

As a responsible event, this challenge raises funds for Special Olympics Guam & Guam Cancer Care. To know more about this event, click here. All participants receive a Finisher Medal, Numbered headband, Performance Dri-fit, a Pizza, and access to download event photos post race.
