Guam is not only known for its tropical beaches and the Hafa Adai spirit, but also for some funky, mind blowing music. Guam plays host to musical festivals regularly and the latest is the Electric Island Festival, bringing together an exciting bunch of global and local Electronic Music artists. This is the 4th edition and this festival has established itself as a premier event for electronic music in the Asia-Pacific region.
The festival’s main event will be held over two days, on 24th and 25th June at the Guam International Raceway. As a prelude, the festival will also host EIF Week—a series of free events starting on June 20 that include educational seminars, music workshops, and other events focused on music tourism and sustainability for the island. EIF Week kicks off on June 20 at the Holiday Resort Ballroom.
Other events of the EIF week include, a two-part deejay workshop on 21st June, set up at the popular Chamorro Village for Music Tourism on 22nd June, the official EIF Pre-Party at DROP & EXIT on 23rd June and the main events on 24th and 25th June. EIF Week comes to a close on June 26 with the annual Recovery Party at The Beach Bar in Tumon Bay.
