The festival of Pacific arts is one of the most prominent events in the Pacific region’s calendar and this brings together the culture and camaraderie of all countries and regions in the Pacific. The 12th edition this year, of this festival, which is a once-in-four-year event, is hosted by Guam. With such a rich culture & the never ending spirit to showcase, it is a guarantee that this event will be a great success. Hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism’s Culture Division, the festival is slated to be conducted from 22nd May to 4th June. This event brings together artists and cultural practitioners from around the Pacific region for two weeks of revelry and festivities. Delegations from 27 pacific Island nations are expected to participate in this event.
Headed by the Director of Culture, Dennis Marita, a task force is currently working to ensure that the country maintains its potential as far as culture and tourism is concerned.
